Advanced Cardio Training at Home
9 October 2020Pro Ski Simulator

Build endurance with progressive intervals that keep the whole body involved and the movement precise.
Progress beyond steady pace
Advanced cardio does not mean moving carelessly. It means manipulating pace, resistance, work duration and recovery while preserving the same balanced turn pattern.
- Use short, faster intervals to challenge power.
- Use longer, moderate blocks to develop endurance.
- Recover actively at a pace that restores control.
- Increase only one variable at a time.
Why full-body cardio works
When the legs, trunk and upper body contribute together, the cardiovascular demand rises quickly. The low-impact gliding pattern also gives athletes an alternative to repetitive running or jumping.
Train smarter
Warm up thoroughly, set a pace you can sustain and stop when posture deteriorates. Advanced sessions should still leave room for recovery between demanding training days.
